On July 3, Mr. Sunday EGBEOLA, President of Suntaeg Energy and Ms. Magatte FALL, Vice President and Associate, proudly received a US $ 40,000 award from Mrs. Priya GAJRAJ, UN System Resident Coordinator in the United Nations Senegal, Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).

Indeed, Suntaeg Energy is one of the five winning companies in the innovation contest “Accelerating Inclusive Business Models to Promote Access and Use of Solar Energy Services by People in Senegal” organized by the UNDP in support of the implementation of the “Ecosystem Initiative for Inclusive Solar Energy Enterprises” (IEEIES) platform.

Suntaeg Energy offers several solar solutions to its customers allowing universal access to electricity:
– they become the owners immediately without expensive investments or long technological infrastructure to implement,
– easy to use and maintain
– with an excellent energy efficiency report
– affordable.

The prize awarded by the UNDP will help reduce the barriers to the accessibility of our solar smart solutions for all in Senegal, notably by:
– payment facilities
– a campaign to promote solar energy, information and monitoring
– recruitment and training of qualified local resources.
